West Germany - DD Review

Gay Berlin welcomes West Germany (frequently mis-said as West Berlin) as a new Berlin gay / mixed club. It takes place on the 4th Saturday of each month and it gets packed. It's in a building which is mostly occuppied by dodgy dentists, doctors and alternative medicinists. You enter by a small door, struggle up 4 flights of stairs past the toilets and there you are. The decor is 60's derelict. The act when we visited was brash chubby girly sexual all over each other. They have an efficient bar, but no cloakroom. Nikolai Tange Lange, gay Berlin iconic diva DJ, was seen searching for his jacket among the piles. Continue reading for more pictures.

Update July 2009: West Germany seems to be on the move. Has been in Festsaal Kreuzberg recently.
