The Teddy awards are gay film awards and part of the Berlinale film festival. They are having an introduction at Kino International on Monday 7.2, a party at SchwuZ Friday 11.2 and the award Gala party in the main hall at Templehof airport Friday 18.2.
The 25th Hustlaball is coming up on Friday 22nd October and there's a whole weekend of parties from Thursday to the early hours of Monday morning. Meet me, impress me, get me and kiss me, that's what they are saying at the gay lesbian bi parkfest in Volkspark Friedrichshain which takes place this year on Saturday 14 August.
As usual it's totally free and they are having "your personal drama queen" Leonie Motzkachel presenting Carlos Fassanelli, Bürger P, Chrizz t., Cora Lee and more. It all takes place in the open air cinema and starts about 15:00 when runners from the 10km-life-run mini marathon should be limping in. Park closes 22:00.

Fahrt – the word is often a source of amusement to Brits. Don't forget it's the Fahrt holiday on Thursday. Shops shut, clubs and bars open, no happy hour at Tramps. And there's the first gay street party outside Hardies Kneipe, Ansbacher Str. opposit KDW. Sadly due to the Fahrt holiday you won't be able to pop in for that essential perfume. For those of us who love cheese, it's great to know that this year's Eurovision Song Contest is in the Telenor Arena near Oslo, Norway. The Telenor Arena is "Northern Europe's largest indoor stadium, with a capacity of 23,000 for concerts."
The semi finals and finals are in the week 25-29 May. All shows start at 21:00 CET, First Semi-Final Tues 25th, Second Semi-Final Thu 27th and the Grand Final is on Saturday 29th. Shows will be broadcast live in all participating countries.
