So the following on Paloma from one of the DJ's:
"Paloma is open wednesday to saturday. Every night with different DJs, playing all kind of different electronic dance music (house, techo, disco, electro, etc...). Normally the bar is simply 'gay friendly', but gets a lot gayer every 3rd friday of each month for a party called "Paloma Imperial" DJ'ed by MASSIMILIANO PAGLIARA which fills up with lots of gay Kreuzberg men. Paloma is a lovely tiny place, the shape almost recalls a little space ship, with good sound system, a nice selection of music and drinks and a great panorama over kottbusser tor. Mostly fridays and saturdays really crowded, so check it out!!"

Two months ago Sandro told us we should include Paloma bar on discodamaged. At long last here it is and Sandro says "It's mixed but very gay". It's at Skalitzer Str. 135, Berlin-Kreuzberg (entrance up the dodgy stairs then left). We don't know the opening hours, maybe Sandro can help again?

And we visited Wednesday 30th but it was shut. Two ladies coming out of the forbidding cage entrance beside Kaisers supermarket told us that it's open Thursday-Saturday from 10pm. And again on Saturday: It's very small with a mised crowd and chilled music. You have to pay 1 or 2€ for the DJs.

So that's four fairly gay bars / clubs within crawling distance of Kotbusser Tor. Südblock, Möbel Olfe, Festsaal Kreuzberg and Paloma bar. And then there are more round the corner in Oranien Strasse.
