Mannometer - DD review

Mannometer is a gay drop in centre in Schöneberg the centre of gay Berlin. They dispense advice, sell coffee, occasionally have art openings with alcohol or speed chess competitions, and sell condoms, lube and other useful things at reasonable prices. One speciality is their quick HIV test. Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 17.00 to 20.30. Cost = 15€. Look for HIV Schnelltest on their website.

Top tip: Gay Berliners call lube gel. It's pronounced with a hard g. So a useful phrase is Haben Sie Kondome und Gel, bitte? Means: Have you got condoms and lube, please? Pronounced: Harben zee condomer oond gel, bitter? Sadly, even in sex bars, the answer is often Nein (No.)
