BLOW WAVES IN BERLIN

On tour from Malbourne Australia, gay rock band the Blow Waves arrive in Berlin from the out games in Copenhagen. They're on at Monster Ronson’s Erotic Fag bar tonight (Mon 17th), Chantal's House of Shame on Thursday 20th and Whitetrash on Friday 21st. Every night is in the gay Brtlin calendar. Monster Ronson’s is at Warschauer Str. 34 Kreuzberg. Chantals House of Shame is at Bassy, Schönhauser Allee 176a Prenzlauer Berg. Whitetrash is at Schönhauser Allee 6/7 , Prenzlauer Berg. DARKROOM AT CHANTAL'S?

Chantal's facebook (Facebook / Chantal Berlin) says "freut sich auf ihr neues schmuddelzimmer im bassy club" ... looking forward to the new filth room in Bassy club ... We checked with the wonderful hostess of Chantal's House of Shame, if it was really a darkroom. She said she's got a new room at Bassy, it will be ready tomorrow 30th April and she'll tell us on Friday if anybody was fucking there. Watch this space.

Chantals House of Shame - DD Review

Team damaged revisited Chantals House of Shame in July 2008 to check out their new location. The location, we agreed, is an improvement on the old one. It is better laid out with separate areas for drinking and dancing. When we arrived at 2am the dance floor was busy to the sounds of house music. They have a bar up some stairs by the dance floor and another good sized bar / smoker room, which became the most popular place to be as the night wore on. When we left around 6am the dance floor was getting empty. The entrance charge was 7 € and  bar prices were reasonable.

Chantal moves to Bassy

Chantal's house of Shame has moved to Bassy in Pfefferberg at Schönhauser Allee 176a. We're not sure quite how that's working. Bassy is a cowboy club, Pfefferberg is under reconstriction, Chantal's website hasn'y been updated since October 2007.
