January 2010 we reported a death in Bull Berlin's reckless after hour gay sex bar. And last Tuesday they had another. A source close to the event told us that they were sitting next to this man who appeared to fall asleep on a sofa. Click the headline for the full story. The man snored once and his head dropped. Falling asleep is a common event in Bull, it might even be called a hotel and the sleepers are not usually disturbed except by sex maniacs and the cleaner.

BULL: THE WORLD'S OLDEST GAY BAR?

Could Bull be the world's oldest gay bar? Discodamaged's friend Brendan, writer of cabaret-berlin.com, has told us that it opened about 1920 and was called Kleist Casino. In 1970 Otto Friedrich wrote "There are no windows on the blank wall and the inside is dark and gloomy". No change there then. Christopher Isherwood and WH Auden also spoke about it. An estimated 600,000 people partied on the streets of Berlin on Saturday celebrating CSD (Berlin gay Pride). Discodamaged sent reporter Jack and friends on a 36 hour mission to explore and enjoy. DEATH IN BULL

Last Friday night / Saturday morning (23rd January) a man was found dead in Bull, one of Berlin's sleaziest gay after hours sex bars. A witness said that the man, a local named Patrick, was found in the back room with his hands tied behind his back and a yellow plastic bag over his head. The usual carry on in the bar was severely disrupted while the police were called and conducted some initial investigations. When asked, staff at the bar declined to comment except to express their regret about the sad accident. The police investigation continues.

NAKED SEX PARTY AT BULL

BAD TOILET AWARD GAY BERLIN 2008

Discodamaged Berlin announces a contender for the worst Berlin toilet. Nothing can beat Armstrong, which was closed down after all the urinals blocked and the cubicle flooded. Bull, which may have a cultural relationship with Armstrong, is aspiring to inherit the title. The toilets are at first impression clean. However
1) The basket for used paper towels frequently overflows
2) The locks on the two cubicles are broken.
3) Worst, you have to ask for toilet paper at the bar if you need it. So don't forget to ask the barman before you want a shit. And estimate the number of sheets you need accurately. No chance for extras.

Bull - DD review

Bull is a new gay bar on Kleiststrasse next to New Action. On the opening night it was rammed. It looks like a good place. Good size bar, lots of sofas, spacious darkroom equipped with two slings, side by side and even a small dance floor. Since then it has been a bit quiet but it could get better.

On a subsequent (Aug/07) visit at about 7am on a Sunday morning there were 10-20 people there and the dark room was busy, with some good looking lads. It makes a nice change to have a Schöneberg sex bar with comfortable, clean surroundings. 4am-11am at the weekends, especially after New Action closes, is their busiest time.
