PET SHOP BEARS – DD REVIEW

We've always listed Pet Shop Bears, albeit with scanty info, but I've never been because I imagined a rather dreary event full of large hairy men in dungarees swigging pints. I must put up my hands here and confess to having an irrational fear of bears. When I actually meet them, they invariably turn out to be sweet and friendly and I often want to cuddle them. With Pet Shop Bears I was proved doubly wrong because there was scarcely a bear in sight and the place was rammed with sexy gay Berlin men of all persuasions dancing, drinking and having a great time. There's a good size, busy dance floor and another area with seats and sofas. The only complaint I heard was from a young Englishman who couldn't find any drugs, poor chap. Regular DJs / promoters are Justin Case and Open Mike. OK - one at least had a beard.
