Ajpnia, our favourite Schöneberg sex club, will be closed 19 February to 6 March for a bit of rebuilding. If you go there by mistake, there's always CDL round the corner: less homely, more industrial but just as effective. Can't wait to see the new Spring look!

More secret parties: We are told by reliable sources that our beloved Ajpnia have a secret sex party for lesbians and gays once a month on a Friday. They don't publicise it. You have to get a personal invitation.

AJPNIA IS 11 ON 11.11.11

Berlin's most comfortable gay sex club Ajpnia celebrates its 11^th birthday next Friday 11^th November. What you'll find there: Small bar, soft sofas, sexy crow's nest, video lounge, condoms, lube and mattress strewn cellar. Dress code: No shoes allowed but most go naked or only underwear. Entry about 6€. Ajpnia is at Eisenacher Str. 23 Berlin-Schöneberg.

Ajpnia - DD review

Ajpnia is open Wednesdays and Saturdays. It's an "eV", which is a sort of co-op, German style, all profits go back into this gay sex club and the people who work there do it for free - there is a waiting list.

The entrance is dimly lit, the first time I went there I walked past it twice. It’s the ground floor and cellar of an old house. The dress code is take your shoes off and anything else you want. Most people wear socks and underpants or go completely naked. The main room upstairs has a bar and two large comfy sofas seating 15. It has a gallery which you get to by a ladder. The gallery has beds. People had sex there. There’s also a video / bed room and showers and toilets on the ground floor. The cellar is full of beds, some curtained off. There is very quiet music and the lighting is low but not dark. Condoms lube and paper towels are always within reach.

Bottom line
It’s all carefully designed for comfortable clean sex. It's my favourite gay sex bar in Berlin and it's unique. Visit!

AJPNIA IN DECEMBER

Charming intimate gay sex club Ajpnia are going a bit queer over Christmas. It's normal Saturdays and Wednesdays until Friday 24.12 when they open for Christmas Eve. They're open again Christmas day Saturday 25.12, not open Wed 29.12 and open for New Years Eve on Friday 31.12. It's all in that gay Berlin calendar.

Homely gay sex club Ajpnia are having another mixed night this month on Friday July 9. So it's not interfering with the regular Wednesday and Saturday nights. Gott sei Dank! They put the tent out in the front garden a few weeks back – don't grunt too loudly boys you might disturb passing mothers. Ajpnia is at Eisenacher Str. 23, Berlin-Schöneberg.

AJPNIA WHITSUN EMERGENCY

Jack just staggered in from Ajpnia, the sex party like it's in your own home. Normally they are only open Wednesdays and Saturdays, but they are open today Sunday 23rd in honour or Pfingsten / Whitsun, which is when the holy spirit came down to those disciples. Expect miracles in Ajpnia. Jack said he had a fab time there last night and will probably be going back fpr more tonight. We will try and get a story out of him after breakfast tomorrow.

SCHÖNEBERG'S DECENT BIRTHDAYS

Two birthdays in Schöneberg this week: On Friday 13th the ever popular and decent gay bar Hafen is 19 and on Saturday 14th the only cozy gay sex club in Berlin, Ajpnia, is ten years younger at 9. You could certainly take your maiden aunt to Hafen and you could almost take her to Ajpnia.

Aha are still wandering over Berlin with their gay sex party and experimenting with new locations. This month they are having it at Ajpnia on Friday the 14th. As usual in Summer, Ajpnia have their tent outside. Peek in as you walk by and you'll see lots of naked men cavorting about and it's easy to spot at Eisenacher Str. 23, Berlin-Schöneberg. Wednesdays afterwork sex party, Saturdays a later sex party. Very friendly staff and guests. Sex on the balcony or downstairs. Every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday is (normally) "PositHiv-Verkehr". They are especially welcoming to HIV+ folk and forbid any discussion of peoples' status. However, it's not a bare back party! AHA ON THE ROAD

As discodamaged reported in January, AHA closed but was 'looking for a new place'. They've gone nomadic. April 17th they were in Ajpnia and on 9th May they are in Ackerkeller. We’ll keep you posted.
