CDL BAR – DD REVIEW

New gay sex bar CDL had it's opening party two weeks ago. Discodamaged paid a visit and owner Raik showed us round. The party was busy, the free beer was great but the Sekt was gross. It tasted of petrol or something. However, you didn't have to drink it and everything else was excellent. It's smart and modern with a relatively small bar upstairs at the front and two or three large play cubicles on the way to shower / toilet and a smoking room at the back. Downstairs they've converted most of the cellar into a darkroom with a second small bar. Smoking was allowed downstairs but they were trying to be strict about it upstairs. It could be a haven for non-smokers - about the only one in Schöneberg.

oh come on, 5 pm? too early. maybe if it is a special party like a gangbang or something, then it would attract a special crowd at this time. but CDL anyway is a great place and well worth going there for hot sex

So, CDL has gotten a lot simpler! Monday to Thursday it's open from 5pm and the deal is simply a €9 minimum spend. No entry fees, no cloakroom fees - that is all. So, 3 drinks ( beers or otherwise) and you're paying the same as being in a bar that doesn't have naked men walking about inviting you to be intimate with them!
I've been twice in the last week and it's a shame that the 'after-work' vibe isn't happening. It doesn't start getting busy till after 7 or 8pm. I would have thought a naked-sex party happening from 5pm every weekday in a really nice club would be a winner.
