I just got back from the CSD party at Cocker. Great crowd, but a few problems with the club:

-everyone left the pop dance floor: an awkward space with bad ventilation.
-there are a lot of hallways with no music that lose the spirit
-outdoor space was popular, but the position of the bar breaks up the dancing. It was hard to find a place to dance where you could hear the music but weren't in the glare of the lights.
-downstairs men's toilets had an annoying line for only 4 urinals.
-darkroom was active in the far back corner, but otherwise there was a lot of milling around or watching the few couples fucking.

The main room was the most successful, with good video graphics, but perhaps there wasn't the critical mass to make it work with everyone outside? Maybe people found the low ceiling claustrophobic.

This is a club that almost works! I think it should have been better given the number of cute guys who were definitely up for a good time.
