Sanatorium is pricey (for Berlin), not too crowded, elegant, interesting toilets, lovely seating and full of Berliners trying to be stylish. Its a good place to meet if you are going to Berghain, Maria or Tresor later. When you get your first drink you have to pay 1€ extra per drink for the DJ. A different one every day. They have a hotel upstairs. Friends who stayed there liked it. Scores 4/5.
