Strassenfest with Discodamaged

Correction: Homopatik x 2

We apologise for writing two days ago that Homopatik had moved back a week to June 28 this month. This was incorrect. They are partying twice this month once, as usual on the third Friday June 21 for a modest 23 hours and again a week later on Friday June 28 for a banging 34 hours. It's a gay invasion at AboutBlank! Gay Night at the Zoo Aug 16

Swing party Gay Night at the zoo has moved from its usual date between the Strassenfest and CSD to Friday August 16 this year. "Sing and swing from 20:30 with elephants, tigers, gay penguins, Luci van Org, Kim Fisher, Roman Shamov and the BVG-Orchestra. DJane Monique vom Café Fatal (SO36) is on after the show. Homopatik for the whole weekend

Homopatik, at the large About Blank along with garden / forest, had a marathon three day party for their first birthday in May. Obviously it was a success. They are doing it again June 28-30. Crush - queer party in Berlin

Crush at L.U.X Friday 14 June: "Crush is a new monthly party designed like a playground for adults.... guaranteed 100% chemical fun". Does that mean they hand out the drugs? Cocktail D'Amore at a Ressort

Cocktail D'Amore seem to have settled down at Ressort every first Saturday of the month. They are on this Saturday June 8. Residents Discodromo and Boris and guest Mr. Avihay Partok from Tel Aviv will be spinning up those discs. Ressort is at Invaliden Strasse 50, Mitte and we programmed that in to gay Berlin calendar.

Vote for that film we made

Damaged made a documentary a while back about barebacking.  Why? Just Say Know. We could have made a film about something less controversial but heck, this is DiscoDamaged and we give a f*ck... according to rumours most of which you can take with a pinch of lube. 

Directed by Berlin's Alexander Huber it gives voice to folks assumptions and explores this taboo subject in a fun engaging way:)  It got standing ovations at various German film festivals and in London we had a great screening and debate hosted by the RVT and expertly chaired by Stewart Who?.

Anyhoo. it's recently been entered into the Film Skillet best documentary contest and we'd love it if you voted for it - it's up against easier non-gay subjects so would be good to raise it and this issue's profile.

Friendship Kiss Benefit Concert

As part of Pride week the Hirschfeld-Eddy-Stiftung and Teddy e.V.are having a benefit concert for the St. Petersburg Initiative LGBT-Network and the Side-by-Side film festival. It's at the Berliner Konzerthaus, Gendarmenmarkt with the works of Rachmaninov, Glinka und Tschaikovsky performed by the Russian Klassik-Trio Berlin, the Bläser-Trio D’Anches, soprano Minjou von Blomberg and Tenor Mads Elung-Jensen.

Gay Berlin in June

Due to the boss Gavin "shoot first ask questions later" and the new mustard design - some people think it is piss - things were a bit late on Damaged this month. But now June listings are totally up to date :-) Except the shameful House of Shame and SO36 who have not sent in their listings duh.
